THE WILLOWBROOK SAGA
Although this is billed as a contemporary alternative history crime tale, the theme is about human trafficking and exploitation, which is all too real.
THE SEEDS OF THE PAST LAY THE GROUNDWORK FOR ALTERNATIVE HISTORY CONTEMPORARY CRIME!
The events that kick off this Rural Noir collection will be key to launching the upcoming present-day WILLOWBROOK MYSTERIES stories, an upcoming project from Shannon Muir set in an alternative modern day history. THE WILLOWBROOK SAGA follows generations of intrigue, mystery, and exploitation. Willowbrook, Washington, was a small community influenced by the arrival of outsiders looking to live a different lifestyle. Over the decades, they took their ways further and further underground while constructing an economy that allowed them to hide in plain sight. Follow the women influenced by the cultural of this fictional small town from pioneer days in the rural Inland Northwest, down to World War II through the 1960s and 1970s and starting to come to a head in the 1990s. This book brings together previously published material in an e-book only volume, with the previously published material on track for e-book and first time in print re-releases.
