Hello! I’m Lemonia, Lemmi, the Witch of Mintwood. I took over as the witch after my beloved grandmother died. One thing that I’ve realized is very important to me is reconnecting with the people that mattered most to me years ago. This has come as quite a surprise, since I had lost touch with some of them for a long time. When I came home to take over for my grandmother, I realized the value of old relationships.
At first I didn’t think her passing was mysterious, but my opinion on that is changing. Unfortunately, there’s always something afoot in Mintwood, and I haven’t had time to investigate her death properly yet. I’m busy with a variety of issues, mostly stemming from the fact that I can speak with ghosts, and sometimes there are ghosts who were murdered.
My two best friends, Charlie and Greer, live with me. They are humans, not witches, but they’ve taken to helping me solve crimes. Charlie is hopelessly organized and nosy. She keeps a chore chart for the household while she writes for the Mintwood Gazette. Greer is much more laid back, so much so that she and Charlie sometimes butt heads. That’s the polite way to put it.
At least I’m never lonely.
That’s also in part because of Jasper Wolf. He’s also a friend from high school, at least on my end. He’s the most dreamy man I have ever seen. Too bad I first saw him again after many years at a time when I was protesting a project he was working on. Oops. All’s fair and fun in Mintwood. Hopefully it’s all also forgiven.
