THE PULP AND MYSTERY SHELF brings you mysteries by Shannon Muir, serialized on Tumblr blogs.  As of this weekend (4th weekend in November, 2016), changes are being made to the lineup with the introduction of WILLOWBROOK MYSTERIES CASE FILES.

In addition to the episode as it first appeared on the Tumblr site, each includes stories, novellas, or novels that take place in the same world as Myanna Moore. Most of these materials were previously released, but marketed in a different manner. The backing materials in what will be episodes Five and Six of the six-episode arc will contain never before released novels.

THE PULP AND MYSTERY SHELF COMES TO LOSCON 43!

Shannon Muir, administrator of THE PULP AND MYSTERY SHELF, will appear at LosCon 43. LOSCON is run by the Los Angeles Science Fantasy Society, the world’s oldest, continuously active science-fiction and fantasy club founded in 1934. Shannon appeared on several panels several years ago for LOSCON 36 and really looks forward to making a return appearance.

While she will be there all weekend, one panel in particular discusses book blogs like THE PULP AND MYSTERY SHELF – and will certainly delve into other online sources – as a force for finding new reads, with an emphasis on science fiction and fantasy,which find their roots in the pulp era. If you are into these genres, come check out the panel, along with other great panels on BOOKS AND LITERATUREat LOSCON 43 on Thanksgiving Weekend of 2016!
